This Privacy Policy explains what information Barnes Nest collects, how we use it, and your choices. By using Barnes Nest you agree to this policy.
Account details (name, email, role), profile information for Pros (service, city, rate, license/insurance status), project requests and messages you send, reviews, and payment-related data processed by Stripe. We also collect basic usage and device data.
To operate the marketplace — matching Homeowners and Pros, enabling quotes, messaging, scheduling, payments, and reviews — to send transactional notifications, to maintain trust and safety, and to comply with law.
We share information between the parties to a job as needed to complete it (e.g. a Homeowner's request is shared with the relevant Pro). We use service providers such as Supabase (database/auth), Stripe (payments), and Resend (email) who process data on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information.
Card and bank details are handled directly by Stripe; Barnes Nest does not store full card numbers. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
You can view and update your profile, and request deletion of your account by contacting us. Some records may be retained as required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections and per-user access controls. No system is perfectly secure; protect your password.
The platform is not intended for anyone under 18.
